All freestyle divisions will have a Toss/Fetch round.
(Open
division freestyle is the equivalent of INTERMEDIATE
division)
All freestyle rounds will consists
of Freestyle round 1 + Toss/Fetch
round 2 + Freestyle round 3.
Following USDDN rules, the top 5
finishers will receive an invitation
to the 2010 USDDN National &
International Finals. The 6th
and 7th place finishers will be
Alternate Qualifiers in the event
that someone in the top 5 cannot
attend the finals. Please
refer to USDDN rules for questions
about competitors that are
previously qualified and how many
total dogs a single competitor can
qualify with.
USDDN
rules regarding dog age and division
will take precedence over SOFK9s
rules on divisions. Any Pro
level competitor who has a dog under
18 months of age may choose to
compete in the Open division
freestyle since the dog is not
eligible to compete in the
Super-Open division. Please
see the complete division rules at
the bottom of the pre-registration
page.

Toss & Fetch, therefore SOFK9s rules

Saturday or Sunday, however, in the
case of an unusually large turn-out,
we reserve the right to make a cut
if needed. |

Rules: |
-
Walk your dog before
your rounds and always clean up after your dog.
Spray cleaner will be available for any potty breaks
that occur on the competition field.
-
Do not let your dog off leash unless it is competing.
-
Do not interrupt Judges while they are judging.
-
Poor
sportsmanship of any sort can get you disqualified from
the event without a refund. Unlawful acts will be
reported and prosecuted.
-
Be mindful of the run order and have your dog walked and
ready when you are called, “On Deck”. A smooth running
event is better for everyone.

If your dog measures 15.00 inches
or less at the shoulder, you may choose to compete
with any of the discs defined above or those
specified below.

For Novice Freestyle and Novice
Toss/Fetch, any of the above discs may be used, in
addition to the following: |

Any Hero, Hyperflite, Fastback
variation, Floppy Flyers, Jawz, Euroblends, Super Hero, Hero
Xtra, or Kong rubber. All discs must be considered
safe for dog use at judges discretion.

Directions: |
Take Cincinnati's outer belt I-275 to the East
side of town to Exit 59A, Milford Parkway. Keep going
straight through two traffic lights and the road turns into
OH 131. From the second traffic light, it is four miles on
OH 131 to the park. The park is on the left and has a large
sign at the entrance. Once in the park mind the posted
speed limit.

Parking: |
Park your car in the first lot on the
right or in the row of spots that go down the park road. Be
mindful to not park in the handicapped spots unless you have
a plate or tag. If you have a large vehicle or trailer
please park in the first lot on the right to keep the road
clear.
Please do not drive directly onto the field.
